王朝文,男,博士,博士后,副教授,博士生導師,碩士生導師,國際粘土礦物協會會員、巖石礦物地球化學學會礦物物理礦物結構專委會會員。主持國家自然科學面上項目1項、青年基金項目1項,湖北省自然科學基金項目1項,國家博士后基金1項和中央高校基金項目1項,參與國家重點研發項目,國家自然科學基金項目,國際合作研究等項目10余項。發表國內外研究論文100余篇。目前主要研究方向為礦物表生作用和成因環境標識(包括圖章石、單晶寶石和南紅瑪瑙等)、粘土礦物學及新生代古氣候環境演化。
